BERRIEN SPRINGS, MI – Dec. 17, 2019 – Honor Credit Union is excited to announce the winners of our Honor Excellence Awards recognizing Honor team members who go above and beyond for our members, our community, and our organization.
Throughout the year, team members from across the organization submitted nominations for the following categories: MVP, Community, Team of the Year, and Leadership Excellence. In addition to receiving an award and a monetary gift, each winner selected a charity or cause close to their heart to receive a $500 donation from Honor.
The winner of the Community Award, Karol Behrle, selected the Michigan Chapter of the ALS Association to receive the charitable donation. Justin Arthur, the recipient of the MVP Award, designated the Cancer Research Institute for his donation. The South Haven Al-Van Humane Society was the recipient of Courtney Waechter’s donation as the winner of the Leadership Excellence Award. And the Team of the Year Award winners, Honor’s IT Team, picked the Humane Society of Southwest Michigan to receive the $500 charitable contribution.
Instructional Design Specialist Jennifer Pratt stated, “We value the amazing team that we have, and this was a wonderful opportunity to not only give back to the team members that truly live Honor’s core values but also to support the causes that are important to them.”
