Thomas Newnum Announced As Community Assistant VP
BENTON HARBOR, MI – July 31, 2019 – Honor Credit Union is excited to announce the recent hire of Thomas Newnum as Community Assistant Vice President for the Benton Harbor, South Haven and Coloma areas.
Born and raised in Hartford, Michigan, Thomas Newnum currently resides in Millburg, a small town in Benton Charter Township. Newnum is a United States Army Veteran with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Cornerstone University and comes to Honor with experience as a credit union Branch Manager.
Newnum serves as the Vice Chair for the Southwest Michigan Regional Chamber of Young Professionals board and has a passion for networking within his community. Newnum co-founded the Future Leaders of Michigan, an active networking group that meets locally once a month. In his down time, Thomas enjoys hiking, kayaking, fishing, golfing and traveling out west.
As part of the Member Experience Team, the Community Assistant Vice President works closely with Honor’s Member Center Managers, Business Services, and Real Estate teams to create relationships, serve the community, and act as a connector to provide members with financial solutions for success. As a CAVP, Thomas will be heavily involved in supporting community organizations and building business partnerships.
